In this talk from our 2026 Vision Sunday, we explore Jesus’ prayer for unity in John 17 and Paul’s prayer for rootedness in love from Ephesians 3, as we reflect on God’s vision for the year ahead. Set in the context of Jesus’ final moments with his disciples, we’re invited to consider what it means to be one, deeply grounded in God’s love, and confident in the good news of the gospel.

We look at three areas of growth: growing in unity through genuine relationships, growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus, and growing in confidence that the gospel truly is good news worth sharing. As a parish, this vision invites us to become a people who are united, confident in the hope we have, and full of joy so that when others encounter us, they encounter the living Jesus.
